1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Mac Workspaces ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Who we are
The App is provided by Strange Attractor FZ-LLC, a company registered in the IFZA Free Zone, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: support@strangeattractor.ai
3. License grant
Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable license fee, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Mac computers that you own or control. The license is for your personal or professional use — not for resale, redistribution, or managed multi-user deployment without a separate written agreement.
4. Trial period
A 14-day free trial is available. No payment is required during the trial. After the trial expires, continued use requires a valid purchased license.
5. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App to any third party
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices in the App
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable law
6. Payment and Merchant of Record
Licenses are sold through Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who act as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a license, your contract of sale is with Paddle, not directly with Strange Attractor FZ-LLC. Paddle collect and process your payment and handle VAT, sales tax, and consumer rights obligations on our behalf. Paddle's terms of service apply to your purchase: paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms.
7. Intellectual property
The App and all associated content, code, graphics, and documentation remain the exclusive property of Strange Attractor FZ-LLC. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. "Mac Workspaces" and the Mac Workspaces logo are proprietary to Strange Attractor FZ-LLC.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every macOS version or hardware configuration.
The App uses private macOS APIs. Apple does not guarantee the availability of these APIs in future operating system versions, and behaviour may change with macOS updates outside our control.
This disclaimer does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law, including any implied warranties that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Strange Attractor FZ-LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
10. Termination
Your license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies. Sections 7, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.
11. Updates
We may release updates to the App and revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. This choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection rights you are entitled to under the laws of your country of residence. Any disputes between us that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE, except where applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Strange Attractor FZ-LLC regarding your use of the App.
